Showbiz in the Philippines has its own monarchs; and one of them is Filipina actress KC Concepcion, christened Maria Kristina Cassandra on April 7, 1985.
A daughter of Philippine singer-actress Sharon Cuneta - dubbed as the Megastar - and teen hearthrob Gabby Concepcion, a couple whose tandem produced several blockbusters during the eighties.

A product of pampered breeding, KC graduated from the International School Manila in 2003 and went to college at the American Univeristy of Paris, where she finished with a bachelor's degree in International Corporate Communications with a minor degree in Theatre Arts. But her upbringing did not stop her from helping those in need; she is currently the Philippine Ambassador against Hunger of the United Nation's World Food Programme.
The showbiz princess starred in several movies and TV series; among them are Mansyon, For the First Time, When I Met U - which became top movie grossers.
