Chinese Filipina Heart Evangelista was born Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco on February 14, 1985. This beautiful Pinay is a TV show host, singer, celebrity endorser and VJ (video jockey).
Her parents are restauranteurs Reynaldo Ongpauco and Cecilia Payawal. His grandfather established the first Barrio Fiesta Restaurant - an international chain, which specializes in traditional Filipino food. He is also a movie producer and caterer of various movie firms.
Beautiful Filipina Heart Evangelista has been active in show business since 1998. As of this writing, she is casted in GMA 7 primetime soap, "Legacy". But from 1998 to 2008, she was connected with rival network ABS-CBN.
Her big break came in 1998, she became part of Star Circle Batch 9, after which she was shown in "G-Mik", "Trip", "Ang Tanging Ina", "My First Romance" and "Berks".
She was nominated in the Star Awards Best Actress award for her role in the TV series, Hiram in 2004. Her singles "Love has Come My Way" and "Tell Me" also won various awards. The Pinay actress renewed her contract with ABS-CBN in 2007, which had her in a TV remake of the movie "Hiram na Mukha". She also appeared in "Pangarap na Bituin".
In photos shared via Instagram below, she enjoys her vacation with friends (in Malaysia, I think).
Pretty Filipina Heart Evangelista transferred to GMA 7 in 2008, which had her star in the series "Codename: Asero". She also co-hosted the weekend variety show "SOP Rules". The network casted her in various shows.
She won the FAMAS Best Actress trophy in 2009 for her portrayal in the movie, "Ay Ayeng" - a film about the Ifugao tribe in the Mountain Province (north of Manila).
Last installment of photos of our featured Pinay celebrity (who - starting this month, July 2013, is now part of the Eat Bulaga noontime show)! She is hosting on it every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays since "Dabarkads" Pauleen Luna and Julia Clarete are out on break. Would she fall for Vic Sotto and dump her current boyfriend, the controversial Senator Chiz Escudero, who is reportedly hated by her parents? Hmmm. However remote, I would count that as a possibility. Bossing has a notorious track record for snagging his co-hosts?!?
