Filipina-Italian celeb Assunta De Rossi | FHM Photos

I know you miss her like I do. Ever since her marriage to congressman Jules Ledesma - representative of the first district of western Visayas province Negros Occidental - her luscious smile and voluptuous body has been away from showbiz spotlights.

Of course, I'm talking about Filipina-Italian actress Assunta De Rossi.

Born as Maria Assunta Tiotangco Schiavone in Lecce, Italy on February 19, 1983, she is an actress and model who once lorded over print and broadcast media, especially during the first half of the new millennium. But in 2006, she was featured again in the steamy men's rag: For Him Magazine (FHM Philippines). Here are her photos from said shoot.

Assunta de Rossi (her screen name) was born to an Italian father named Luigi Schiavone and a Filipina mother named Nanita.

But don't let her looks deceive you, she may have started out as a flowervase (as a siren and leading lady of action films). But she blossomed to be a respectable actress, who like her younger sister Alessandra (Alex) has won the coveted Best Actress award of the Metro Manila Film Festival.

She has appeared in the following movies: Sabi Mo Mahal Mo Ako Wala ng Bawian and Ibulong Mo sa Diyos 2  in 1997, Sige Subukan Mo and  Hangga't Kaya Kong Lumaban in 1998), Sumigaw Ka Hanggang Gusto Mo, Kanang kanay: Ituro Mo, Itutumba Ko and Ikaw Lamang in 1999, Tugatog and Baliktaran in 2000, Red Diaries, Sisid , Hubog in 2001, Kilabot at Kembot, Jologs, Bahid in 2002, Pinay Pie in 2003 and Mourning Girls in 2006.

Our featured Pinay celeb has also been active as a TV actress from her debut in That's Entertainment in 1995 (as Assunta Schiavone), being cast in various roles in rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
