Born on February 19, 1993 to a German father and Filipina mother as Empressita Karen Schuck, she was previously seen on GMA-7 shows (from 2000 to 2005) before she was acquired by ABS-CBN's Star Magic (2006 to present).

This blog believes she will become one of the country's
premiere thespians. After all, back in 2003, she won the Best Child Actress in
the prestigious FAMAS Awards (the Philippine equivalent of the Oscars) for her
first movie, "9 Mornings". In 2007, at the 33rd Metro Manila Film
Festival, she was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the
sci-fi movie, "Resiklo".
