Teen Star Empress Schuck | Photos

Former child star (now Pinay teen celebrity Empress Schuck) is formally a leading lady of Philippine movies with the release of horror flick "Guni-Guni" by Regal Films with equally stunning slim Filipina beauty Lovi Poe. The movie, as of this writing, is now showing in theaters nationwide.

Born on February 19, 1993 to a German father and Filipina mother as Empressita Karen Schuck, she was previously seen on GMA-7 shows (from 2000 to 2005) before she was acquired by ABS-CBN's Star Magic (2006 to present).

Here are photos of Empress Shuck sporting a new look (short haircut), self-shot and posted on Instagram. I don't know your opinion on this but I really think she looks like a younger version of Valerie Concepcion

This blog believes she will become one of the country's premiere thespians. After all, back in 2003, she won the Best Child Actress in the prestigious FAMAS Awards (the Philippine equivalent of the Oscars) for her first movie, "9 Mornings". In 2007, at the 33rd Metro Manila Film Festival, she was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the sci-fi movie, "Resiklo".

In below images, she is cover girl for magazines Meg and Celebrity Living.

She has been seen in the following TV shows (partial list): Mundo Man ay Magunaw, E-Boy, Ikaw Ay Pag-Ibig, Wansapanataym: OMG, Oh My Ghost, Guns and Roses, 100 Days To Heaven, various Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episodes.

Our featured Filipina teen actress has also starred in movies such as Dalaw, Working Girls, Sa 'Yo Lamang, Ang Darling Kong Aswang, BFF (Best Friends Forever), Pasang Krus, I'll Be There, Hilot, Magkaibigan, Shake, Rattle & Roll 8, Resiklo, Angels, Pacquiao: The Movie, and 9 Mornings. Her next movie is titled, Amoros, for Skylight Films and Star Cinema.

BTW, her celebrity tandem with Dino Imperial (also called DINOPRESS) is hot among fans. The said pair has posed as image models and product endorsers of clothing wear B.U.M.  (with fellow teen star Bea Binene) She poses for said brand in photo below.

Celebrity Tweets for DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo

The nation now mourns the untimely demise of Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo.

His body was found yesterday in the plane wreckage in the seas of Masbate.

The good secretary, according to testimonials not only from his colleagues in politics but from ordinary folks is a good man who epitomizes the true meaning and essence of public service.

Philippine celebrities, through Twitter, have expressed their condolences and sympathies to his family and to the Filipino people.

Here are the said celebrity tweets:

Jodi Sta. Maria
"Ipagdasal po natin si Sec Robredo at ang kanyang naiwang pamilya, pati narin ang dalawang nasawing piloto at kanilang mga pamilya"

Lucy Torres-Gomez
"R.I.P. Sec. Jesse. Heaven is your reward for a life well-lived. You will always be an inspiration to so many."
Bianca Gonzalez
"to honor men like him, we can only hope the more good hearted, true servants like sec. robredo be elected and appointed into office."
 Anne Curtis-Smith
"Condolence to the Robredo Family"
 Kris Aquino
"U were always 1 of Mom's favorite mayors because u exemplified simplicity in true public service. I am already imagining your spirited conversations w/ our Dad."

Do good and everything follows.  He lived a simple life so that others may simply live. The Philippines will be a great nation only if all public officials will be like the good secretary of DILG.
