Filipina-British Model VJ Georgina Wilson | Photos

Born February 12, 1986, gorgeous British Filipina Georgina Ashley Diaz Wilson has been active in show business since 2010. Before that she has been featured in various commercials and advertisements.


Just look at that face (see photo above, credit" her Facebook fan page). Isn't she a hottie! Some people say she looks like Leighton Meester!


She was born in Yorkshire, England by her mother the late Rio Diaz, who was a beauty queen and actress. Her father is a British MBA degree holder. She is niece to former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz. Her cousin, Isabelle Daza, is also a prominent model.


Miss Georgina Wilson has the brains to top her beauty; having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, with a double major in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sydney.

The captivating British-Filipina is rumored to be the girlfriend of Borgy Manotoc, who is related to the Marcoses of the Ilocos region. It is also said that her close friends in the biz are the "It Girls" (Isabelle Daza, Solenn Heussaff and Anne Curtis).

The brain and beauty combo that is Georgina Wilson endorsed various brands and products, among them is the popular clothing line Bench (as show in photos below).



In 2010, she became a video jock (VJ) for Channel V. In 2011, ABS-CBN's noontime show, "Showtime" had her as celebrity judge for seven weeks. She was also featured as a guest stylist in cycle 17, episode 9 of America's Top Model. She judged the Philippines' Next Top Model in 2012.

Filipina American mestiza Melissa Ricks | Photo

Miss Ricks was born as Melissa Marie on January 9, 1990. A Filipina American mestiza, she entered show business by being a contestant (finished as fourth runner-up) in the reality contest Star Circle Quest by ABS-CBN in 2004.  


She has blazed her own trail in her showbiz career. As of this writing, she appears in a supporting role in "Walang Hanggan", a primetime drama romance by ABS-CBN, which joins her in an ensemble cast with Julia Montes, Coco Martin and veteran actors such as Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Helen Gamboa and Susan Roces. 



She has really transformed herself. After her discovery in a talent search in 2004, Miss Melissa Ricks co-anchored in various TV shows by the ABS-CBN network, notably "SCQ Reload" and the weekend variety program "ASAP fanatic".  Here (in below photo), she poses for the pictorial of soap opera "Nasaan Ka Elisa". 



The young Filipina-American actress made a breakthrough in her acting in the fantasy series: "Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko." Melissa Ricks then ventured into dramatic roles when she played a supporting role in the series, "Iisa Pa Lamang" and a lead role in "Kambal sa Uma", opposite young actress Shaina Magdayao.
