I stumbled upon a Facebook community called “Modern Filipina Beauties”, a page that contained lots of photos of Pinay girls. Ah the wonders of walking through various social networking sites!

I am featuring a few of them, which has come to my liking – particularly giving attention to “real Asians” who are non-celebrities.

Of course we do not mean that Filipina celebrities are “fake” or not “real Asians”. They are as real as Asian beauties could be. With this post, I intend to prove that Pinay non-celebrities could be as beautiful as their counterparts in movies and television!

While contemplating on what gifts to give my mom, I had a "eureka" moment of posting a list of ten lovely Filipina mothers - who despite their toned-down careers as celebrities after focusing on their kids and on building a nice home and family - still keep themselves pretty and alluring.

By the way, in case you still don't know your gifts for mom, here are a few suggestions: (a) boxes of chocolate (they’re still girls inside so they can’t resist chocolates), (b) flower delivery (yes, because she is still girly-girl), (c) iPhoto albums (for lasting memories), (d) books (use free Amazon shipping for convenience), (e) baby monitors, (f) bath toys (for her kid or grandson/daughter).
