10 Lovely Pinay Moms (My Mothers' Day Special)

While contemplating on what gifts to give my mom, I had a "eureka" moment of posting a list of ten lovely Filipina mothers - who despite their toned-down careers as celebrities after focusing on their kids and on building a nice home and family - still keep themselves pretty and alluring.

Philippine Airlines Flight Stewardess, Beauty Queen Bianca Manalo | Hot Photos

While browsing through biographies and profiles of Filipina celebrities and beauty queens, I came across Miss Bianca Manalo, a real non-showbiz Pinay, a working-class stunner, before she was "discovered". 

On November 28, 1986, our featured Filipina beautiful girl was born (Pamela Biance, surname Ramos). She worked as a flight attendant/stewardess for the domestic operations of national flag carrier Philippine Airlines before she grabbed the Miss Binibining Pilipinas - Universe crown (Miss Philippines) in 2009. In the same year, she represented the country in the Miss Universe pageant.

She comes from long line of beauty queens. She is sister to Katherine Anne Manalo, a Top 10 finalist of the prestigious 2002 Miss World pageant. She is also a niece of Miss Nini Ramos, a top 15 semi-finalist of Miss International 1968.

After the national pageant thrust her into the limelight, she was taken in as talent of media network ABS-CBN. Miss Bianca Manalo also enjoys the recognition of the being the first Filipina and Asian woman to endorse L'Oreal Matrix (an international beauty product/cosmetic brand).
