Philippines OMG Awards, for the show "Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak".

She is now making waves as the cover girl of the prestiguous FHM Philippines Magazine for November 2012. Television sets are bound to heat up as her mother network just gave her a break through a daring role in the sexy drama "Misibis Bay", which is hyped as a "steamy story of love, betrayal, revenge and desire". Expect kissing (and love) scenes, hunks and babes in swimsuits in this new series (which has just aired last July 1, 2013). I hope the censors (MTRCB) would go easy on this one!

Ever-Evolving Filipina Actress Rica Peralejo

Pinay actress, singer and TV host Rica Peralejo has gone through many changes - from the cute innocent child-actress and teen star of Ang TV and TGIS in the early nineties, to the sultry "Bold Queen" of Balahibong Pusa, Dos Ekis, Tatarin and other skin flicks of mid-nineties, to Philippine cinema's "Horror Queen" (before she was stripped off this title by Kris Aquino) and "Scream Queen" in the early 2000's. Now she has a laid back image of a cool (but still a hottie!) wife.

Born as Regina Carla on March 7, 1981, Rica is part of the homegrown talents of the ABS-CBN network, also known as Star Magic. She is now married to Pastor Joseph "Joe" Bonifacio. She has starred in the following movies (from 1994 to 2008): Eat All You Can, Bocaue Pagoda Tragedy, Habang May Buhay, Takot Ka Ba Sa Dilim, Where The Girls Are, T.G.I.S.: The Movie, Silaw, It's Cool Bulol, Mula Sa Puso: The Movie, Pera O Bayong Not Da TV, Ex-Con, Balahibong Pusa, Sa Huling Paghihintay, Banyo Queen, Dos Ekis, Tatarin, Hibla, Malikmata, Spirit Of The Glass, Hari Ng Sablay, Dilim, Kutob, Matakot Ka Sa Karma, Tiyanaks and Caregiver.

Though not as well-known and well-remembered as her roles in films of the sexy and horror genres, she released several albums and singles as a singer, which include Sa Huling Paghihintay (soundtrack) in 2000, Ikaw Pa Rin At Ako in 1999 and Fallin in 1995.

Rica Peralejo is regularly featured in FHM Philippines magazine, appearing on the cover of its June 2006 and May 2001 issues and figuring in the its sexiest women poll. Here's her video on "Understatement: The Bench Underwear and Denim Fashion Show" in 2004:

Former Presidential Sweetheart Shalani Soledad-Romulo

Well of course, we all know Miss Shalani Soledad as a former sweetheart of incumbent (until 2016) Philippine president Noynoy Aquino.

Rumor-mongers on her relationship with the president were too active in November 2010, so much so that Shalani (a.k.a. ate Sha and Lani) was the second (2nd) most searched internet personality in the Philippines, next to former Kate Middleton, (Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge).

We may speculate on what caused their breakup; since it appears that Noynoy has developed a habit against marriage. Remember her much publicized romance (then split with celebrity news reporter Grace Lee?). Seems he enjoys the bachelor life way too much.

But be that enough. Let's focus on Miss Soledad (now Mrs. Romulo), who - in photo below - was on the cover of Preview magazine.

Shalani is currently running for the 2013 elections as House representative of the 2nd district of Valenzuela (a city in nothern Metro Manila) under the administration coalition. She has served as councilor for said district since 2004. Since February 2011, she served as the National Secretary General of the Philippine Councilors League.

She is a seasoned local politician, having politics in her genes and former senator and former Majority Leader Francisco "Kit" Tatad as uncle.

From 2003 to 2006, she was a news reporter for UNTV, where she met then Tarlac congressman (now president) Noynoy Aquino when she covered the 2005 State of the Nation Address (SONA). She became his girlfriend from 2008 to October 2010.

After the much publicized breakup, she hosted various game shows with controversial actor (rumored to be a playboy) Willie Revillame. The shows include Willing Wille, Wil Time Bigtime and Game 'n Go.

In January 2012, she married Pasig City congressman Roman Romulo (son of former Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto Romulo). Thus ending the dreams of spin doctors of projecting the country as the new Camelot with Shalani and Noynoy as Guinevere and King Arthur.

Here are some of their wedding photos.

Miss Buko Girl Janica Buhain

Filipina amateur model and blogger Janica Buhain is now making waves in the internet as the "Buko Girl" in the music video Gayuma by Abra. Last month, she was a guest of equally stunning model Karen Bordador (a.k.a. Teacher K) at Flippish.com.

I really find her lovely, especially those sharp piercing eyes (not to mention her voluptuous body!). It is no wonder that the music video that had her in it went viral.

Miss Janica Buhain ("Buko Girl") is another living proof that beautiful and luscious Filipinas could be found among non-showbiz circles.

She has her own Facebook and Twitter (@dianejanica) account. I suggest you go add her up for daily updates about her. You may even find yourself becoming one of her legions of stalkers! I promise you can't get enough of Janica. Hahaha. And wait, she's also a blogger! Here is the address.

Here is the said viral video, which looped her short cameo (but long-lasting or is it lusting) role:
