Kapampangan (Cabalen) Beauty | TV5 talent Ritz Azul | Photos

Filipina actress Ritz Azul, born Ritz Ann Riggie V. Alzul in Diladila, Sta. Rita, Pampanga, was first discovered through the talent search program Star Factor of TV5. She placed fourth in the said contest.

Since then, she has been launched as one of the "Primetime Princesses" along with Danica Paner, Arci Muñoz, Eula Caballero, Jasmine Curtis Smith (sister of ABS-CBN celeb Anne Curtis) and Alex Gonzaga (sister of Toni, also of ABS-CBN).

Don't let her stunning looks fool you, Ritz Azul is an elected public official, currently the Sanggunian Kabataan (youth council) chairperson of Sta. Rita, Pampanga. She is also an accountancy student at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, which she temporarily left to focus on her career in showbusiness.

The beautiful Kapampangan is new in the business. Her career only picked up since 2011 as Ritz appeared as guest, host and cast member in various TV5 programs, which include Fan*tastik, Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak, Untold Stories Mula sa Face to Face, Hey it's Saberdey!, Pidol's Wonderland, R U Kidding me? Ows hindi nga?!, Regal Shocker: Reunion, Glamorosa, Real Confessions, Lokomoko, Kapitan Awesome, Game N Go and Kidlat. She also was also seen as a guest in the GMA-7 series Maynila.

But don't be misled, her brief stint in television has already earned her awards in 2011; first, from the ENPRESS Golden TV Screen OMG Awards with the Outstanding Breakthrough Performance by an Actress and the Amazing Female Newcomer from Yahoo! Philippines OMG Awards, for the show "Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak".

She is now making waves as the cover girl of the prestiguous FHM Philippines Magazine for November 2012. The cover girl was at the Palladium, New World Hotel in Makati (Philippine's central business district) during the said magazine's Halloween Party. A toast to all Kapampangan beauties! (see photos below)

Television sets are bound to heat up as her mother network just gave her a break through a daring role in the sexy drama "Misibis Bay", which is hyped as a "steamy story of love, betrayal, revenge and desire". Expect kissing (and love) scenes, hunks and babes in swimsuits in this new series (which has just aired last July 1, 2013). I hope the censors (MTRCB) would go easy on this one!
